If PvP'ers could carry over fame and the emote, that means PvE'ers should be able to carry over high-end armor and money. And I just don't see either happening.

Or just maybe fame in gw1 will not be the same as in gw2 (if there will be any fame at all) so why not transfering? At least one old title wich doesnt mean anything except that you were good at old gw1 pvp?

But why cant people just continue enjoying their accomplishments (skins, titles, rank) in the game they earned them in (hereinafter known as "Guild Wars 1" (3 chapters and a soon to be released expansion) and use these accomplishments to unlock 'exclusive' content in another game (hereinafter shall be known as "Guild Wars 2"(a game to be relased in 2 years that (as far as general fanbase knowledge knows) isnt even in beta testing and therefore could even be 3 years away if lots of bugs happen (which they unfortunately can).
Now then - when the "title hunter skin hoarder me iz leet ists" start Guild Wars 2 the people playing will be able to be overawed by their leetzism by noting their 'Exclusive' armour/weapon skins or heroes/minipets. that they unlocked in Guild Wars 2 by playing Guild Wars 1. That IMO is the current state of affairs. On a personal note I dont know why on earth people want to clog up their storage with armour pieces that have been personalised for another character when there will (I assume (which makes an ASS out of U and ME ) that there will be new and varied Armour skins to collect and try out, ( including new 15k skins (or whatever k they will be) new types of titles to chase after, new types of weapons to master and collect (I hope) /stands up on soapbox 'People of Guild Wars, move on!' Cowers behind his tormented sheild waiting for the flaming tomatoesto start being pelted. |
